Updates/Park City

In the last couple of months there has been some, well, I guess just one very big decision made.
Blair is starting school again!
About a month or so ago the subject of going back to school came up again. I've known since Blair began working at Beehive Clothing that it was most definitely not where he wanted to be, or what he wanted to be doing. However, there was no way I was gonna bring up the idea of going back to school because of how stressed out and burned out he was at the end of his time at BYU. It had been on my mind though and apparently it had been on his mind too. He brought it up one afternoon and everyday since then we've been discussing, praying, fasting and thinking about the decision. It's a big one!
He was accepted to the University of Utah about 2 weeks ago. He will be completing all the prerequisites for the Accounting program, hopefully in about 2 years, and will then apply to their Masters Program which is one year. He starts on August 26th and his last day of work will be August 23rd.
Talk about things changing quickly!
He is so very excited and I am too! We are reeeally hoping we can stay in our home here. It would make the commute easier and we wouldn't have to move again, but with Blair not working and focusing entirely on school, we really aren't sure what's going to happen. We aren't eligible for any grants because Blair had to apply as a second degree seeking student. That was frustrating to find out. And because he has to go part time for the first little while he won't be eligible for the full loan amount, I think they told us we'd qualify for about 75%. We have ideas of how we'll make it, I really hope it will all work out! In fact, no matter what happens I know it will work out. We both feel so strongly that this is what needs to happen. We know that it will open so many doors for him for his career, it's very exciting!
Work has been going really well for me lately. I've been booked out a couple of weeks in advance, all with people who request me :-) I'm not bragging, I promise. It just makes me feel so good! I have so many nice clients, and couple of weird ones, but that's part of the job I suppose. I do feel like I'd like to move though. When Blair starts school and his schedule changes, I really hope that I can find a job with a chiropractor again and start working day shifts. My shifts are all at night and it's a little rough. Things have been great lately though, so really, no complaints!
Gavin is a busy, busy, busy boy. He shocks us with the new words he learns everyday. He is doing better in Nursery, although, he still screams bloody murder when its time to go. Sigh...but at least he's staying in the whole time and he always tells us that Nursery was good. Silly boy. He distinguishes every person he sees as either a mommy or a daddy, or a mama (grandma) or a pompa (grandpa). It is so cute. He talks and talks and talks. Constantly. We love it! He also cries and cries and cries quite constantly too. That's a little more frustrating. I'm afraid it's the beginning of the terrible twos. I guess it had to come. He is still cute and sweet, but he sure has his moments. We're all excited and super nervous to start potty training him next week. That will be an adventure I'm sure!

So about a month ago we got to go to Park City with my sister and her family. It was a very impromptu trip but it was sure a lot of fun! It is so beautiful there, we love it! Here are a few pictures, enjoy!
We felt quite pampered in the robes that were provided, even for Gavin!

Gavin and Mikey. Gavin talks about his cousin Mike all the time!
Best buds!
The whole group!
Yay for swimming!
We had such a great time!
