Gavin Update

Gavin is so adorable almost all of the time! He has plenty of not so cute moments, but when he's full and dry and not tired, he is so happy! 

He is a sponge. He soaks up every little thing around him. He loves letters and numbers and he has learned so many new words. This is the part where we make a list :-)

There is probably more, but he's sleeping so it's hard to ask him. He puts "a" in front of every word he says. For example: A bus, A moon, A cow. He's says it with quite a lot of gusto!

He is a climber, a jumper and a runner! If you compliment him on how fast he runs or on how high he jumps, he glows with pride! He loves stairs, more specifically the bottom step because he can jump off of it. Any curb or little step up anywhere is the first place he runs to. He loves his books just as much as ever.

Mornings are my most favorite. He wakes up so so so happy! He talks and laughs in his crib for at least half an hour, going through each word, letter or number he knows before he calls for mommy and daddy. I love listening to him each day. He loves to find little places to sit, just sit. At the grocery store he'll find a bottom shelf, push the items back, and then slowly back up to sit down. It is so funny. He absolutely loves the slide, whether its the big one at the park, or the little 6 inch one in his room. No matter which he goes down, he always says "Weee!". He is growing! Oh my goodness, he is so heavy and he is tall! It makes us a little sad to see it happen so fast...

2 years is right around the corner and we simply cannot believe it. 

He is a sweetheart.
