Gavin Quotes/Quick Update (maybe)

October/November/December Quotes:

"Thank you for the delicious sandwich mommy. It tastes...ok."

"Lucy, going potty is so much fun!"

Me (whispering): "Gavin, you are the best boy. I love you!"
Gavin (whispering): "Granola bar."

In line at the pharmacy -
Woman: "Are you excited for Halloween?"
Gavin: "Yes."
Woman: "What are you going to be?"
Gavin: "Umm...I will be 4 in 7 months."

"I don't want to wear shoes down to the office. Or sandals. I will just wear a shirt and some shorts and some undies, but no shoes or sandals. Okay?!"

"I don't love bananas. But my foot is red. That's why I don't love bananas."

"Oh! Here comes Lucy of the coconut tree!"

If he gets any cuter I don't think we'll be able to handle it. He has been the sweetest most thoughtful boy lately and I feel like I desperately need to document these moments. He is so happy, so silly, and so so so helpful! Everything we've asked him to do lately he just jumps up and does it. It is awesome! Gavin loves Lucy so much. He crawls all over and she follows right along. He loves having her in his room to play, they make each other laugh, they love each other! It has been so fun watching them these last couple of months.
Gavin's need for independence continues to grow. He can now put his shoes on by himself which is awesome! He can open the fridge to get some water, juice, or a yogurt all by himself. Most things with him have seemed so gradual, but all of the sudden he is changing and growing. It is exciting, but also very strange. He is getting so big! We love his contagious laugh and smile. There is nothing better!
He has become a little obsessed with his "magnifying doodle" as he calls it. He draws on it all the time, even while watching a show.
He absolutely loves to ride the train! We like to take him on it often since Blair rides for free. It is so fun!
He is so proud that he can now pull his own pants up after going potty. Sometimes though, he has some trouble.. Notice the backwards underwear, and that he put his feet through the bottom. Silly boy!
He loves the ferris wheel, really. He had fun once it started :-)
Gavin loves to go places, he loves to see new things and meet new people, he loves being busy! He talks very matter-of-fact like. Gavin loves to tease and he loves to make up new words for us to spell. His latest one that he had Blair spell was "L U G A" (pronounced "loo-guh") and it means "when I find a spot to jump." He'll be jumping off the couch or off of our bed and tell us "I'm practicing my luga's!" So cute!
He is changing so fast that sometimes it's hard to believe. So for right now, we are going to just simply enjoy our sweet, adorable little boy!
